In a lush Indian village, near a sparkling pond surrounded by mango trees, lived a clever crow named Kavi. One hot afternoon, Kavi noticed a shiny, juicy mango hanging from a branch. As he admired the fruit, a sneaky snake named Saanp slithered nearby, eyeing the mango greedily. Saanp hissed softly, thinking of how delicious the mango would be for his lunch. Kavi, quick-witted and calm, decided to find a clever way to protect the mango and teach Saanp a lesson about greed.

Kavi the crow saw Saanp’s greedy eyes fixed on the mango. Thinking quickly, Kavi chirped loudly, attracting the attention of a wise old parrot named Mitthu. Mitthu was known for his clever ideas. Kavi whispered his plan: he would pretend to be a messenger and trick Saanp into leaving the mango unguarded. Mitthu nodded wisely, and together they devised a plan to outsmart the greedy snake without hurting him.

Kavi flapped his wings and called out loudly, pretending to carry an important message from the village elders. He told Saanp that a special feast was waiting at the far end of the village, and he needed to deliver the message quickly. Saanp, eager for a feast, slithered away eagerly, forgetting about the mango. As Saanp disappeared into the distance, Kavi and Mitthu quickly swooped down and gently took the mango, sharing it happily among the village children who gathered nearby.

With the mango safely shared among friends, Kavi and Mitthu smiled happily. The villagers learned that cleverness and kindness are more powerful than greed. Saanp, realizing his mistake, learned that greed can lead to losing what is precious. From that day, everyone in the village remembered that sharing and thinking wisely bring true happiness, and greed only brings trouble.
